juz came back from genting a few days ago but stil feeling exhausted....missed the weather there sooo much!!
wat can i say bout the trip? hmm...it was not bad....juz ok....quite fun coz got the chance to meet up with my cousins frm kl. the whole family met up in genting highlands to celebrate my granma's birthday n travelling with family is alwaz fun :>
Thurs
woke up at 6 sumthing in the morning (which was considered late) n by the time every1 was ready it was already close to 8am. all my aunts either alrqady in Ipoh enjoying breakfast or almost reaching Ipoh. only our family was left behind in pg....
but no worries....leave it to my dad to catch up with the others. he was speeding all the way to gotong jaya (which was our rendezvous point). guess wat?? we were the 1stto reach there hehe...
after lunch we proceeded to the hotel. checkin in alone took more than half an hr...wat the heck! we then freshen up b4 checking out the various entertainment outlets. the place was so packed! we wanted to watch the show but it was full..so we decided to have a karaoke session as there was a special promotion n was cheap. but it was only available for walk- in patrons n the place was almost fully booked, with only 4 rooms left....darn...
buffet dinner was very nice but there was a small incident with the waitress. i din witness the whole incident but to make a long story short, the waitress was very rude. so my mum decided to confront her but she chicken out n pretended not to see my mum who was waving frantically at her. so mum requested to see the manager intstead. however the manager juz apologised n lack sincerity. all he said was "the best i can do is offer u lunch at a discount rate"
wat the heck?!?! i was there when he said it n he sounded as though we complained coz we wanted a free meal.....sh*t!! i was really pissed off!! so my aunt juz suggested to him that they shd appraise the perfomance of that waitress n thanked him for his time. i guess u cant expect too much frm msian managers. we stil hav a long long way to go b4 we hav the correct mentality to excel in buss....sigh....
after that i visited the ripley's vault or hse or wateva u call it. had a blast in there! yea yea i noe i'm very childish for running in n out of the so called tunnel.....but as cousins u all shdnt tease me bout it...

pure fun :p
was at the outdoor themepark the whole day. the 1st n scariest ride was
flying coaster. juz as we stepped into the car or wateva u call that thing dong n my bro began saying that they regretted paying for the ride...the moment the ride started we started shouting. lol. it was really slow at the beginning n nth scarry but we yelled anyway. then after wat seemed like eternity we finally got to the top n wow !! it was quite horrfying. i could feel the adrenaline flowing through my spine n i was shouting my lungs out. even aunty yen said she heard my voice( she said it was the most high pitched) over the commotion. proud of myself :p
after that we had to queue for over an hr for a ride in the
bumper boat. in return we got to bump into each other n spin in circles for bout 5-10 min. by then we were starving so had a simple but expensive lunch at a nearby stall.
rejuvenated, we headed for another roller coaster ride--
cyclone. it was child's play :p next up was
corkscrew. they were closed for maintenence so we had to go back at 4.30pm. i was petrified n dong had to reasure me that it was nth compared to flying coaster.....it was hard to believe her as i could hear ppl screaming in the back ground. i was soooo nervous, partly coz of the excitement, but mostly it was coz i feared for my safety.....the mist was quite bad but they allowed the ride to cont so i really felt that my precious life was at their mercy. lol. after experiencing the corksrew myself, i had to say that it wasn't so scarry....if it wasnt for the queue i wud hav gone for a 2nd ride :>
after dinner at MrD( which i loathe), we headed for the pavillion where they were showing
Mysteria. wat can i say? it was the most lousy show amongst all the others shown in genting. the dance was so-so, the acrobatic show was juz ok..nth new or exciting.... and the magic show was sub-std. the white tiger was gorgeous though :) it's a pity that such a majestic creature was confined to such a small cubicle....
Sat
bz packing as we had to leave at 11am. had bah kut teh at klang and dropped by at selayang to visit dong's dad. it's good to see him up and around :> by the time we left for pg it was already 5 sumthing n there was traffic jam everywhere. stopped at tapah rest hse for dinner( dunkin donuts n a hot dog n pepsi). dad said there was bird flu so we wont stop by ipoh for chicken rice this time. was contented with donuts n hotdog though hehe.
it was really sad for me as holiday was officially over( although technically speaking i had no holiday n was playing truant...) anyhow, seeing han han's dejected look when waving goodbye really broke my heart....all the anticipation for the trip juz vanished in a sec. like my bro said, "everythng was over in a blink of an eye."
so it's back to reality for me....skipped quite a no of classes so i guess hav some catching up to do...oh n b4 i 4get,
CONGRATS to all those who received their stpm results on thurs, esp amoi n my dear sis. u guys r great!! n oso thanks to halen for ur souvenir frm thailand. it's very nice :)
