flat tyre...

tyre puntured....bummer....

cls on fri ended at 5 n by then it was drizzling. so i put on my jacket n walked in the rain lo...hehe...reached coll late this morning so no parking space n had to park far far away....but i din noe it wud rain ma...

when i reached my car, i was comforted by its warmth :p i got in n started the engine, feeling elated to b going back home. n it was nice weather for driving :> i then backed my car out n made a u-turn, but the car felt kinda odd. so i stopped the car n came down for a look....

guess wat?? my nitemare came true. how "lucky" was i?? the tyre was very flat!! then i saw penny n a thought flashed through my mind--- to hitch a ride home. but then i remembered my car....i couldn't leave it there....sigh.... so i told penny it was ok n i called dad. dad said he wud come but then i later got a call frm mummy saying that the mechanic will b here in a min to help me change the tyre.

while waiting i called ki wei n told her tht i had a punture. then when i was bout to hang up, i saw penny's car again.....n then jiun hann n mk came down. wow, i was really surprised !! n i felt really bad that penny went through all the trouble to fetched those 2 to help me chamge my tyre....was sooo touched!! muz really thank her :) since i already called dad, i told them it was ok. it was stil raining n i din wana trouble them.....thanks guys!

i waited.....n waited...n waited.......n finally, after approx 45 mins, the mechanic came. yea my saviour!! it only took him bout 5 mins or less to change the tyre n he made it look really easy :>

i was so relieved that i cud finally go home. after driving a short distance i realised that the tyre was makin a strange sound but i brushed it aside since it was a spare tyre n not used frequently. then there was this little incident juz outside SGGS....it was sort of an emergency brake but not quite coz there was still some distance frm the car in fornt. the new honda city in front braked, so i followed suit. i'm not really sure wat happened but there was this noise which sounded like the lower part of my car scratching the tar road....but that's quite impossible rite? neway i was petrified when i heard it coz i thought i hit sumthing. n i still couldn't bring my car to a stop. it sort of skid n i really thought i was goin to hit the new car in front....then it finally came to a stop. thank god!! gosh that gave me a scare n my heart was thumping like crazy. lucky me :p

thinking back, i was lucky..... coz it wud have been worse if it puntured while i was on my way back. if that was the case, i wud have caused a massive traffic, since it was already rush hr traffic.

in life,we normally take things for granted until sumthing bad happens.....then u suddenly realise that all this while, u nvr really appreciated anything in ur life.....

when ppl treat u nicely, nvr take it for granted.

when ppl treat u nicely eventhough u acted rudely by ignoring them, it shd doom on u that great frens r hard to come by in life n shd b valued. u shd nvr do things that may hurt their feelings.

when u lie to others n they stil forgive u, then of coz they are all very dear frens of urs as they r willing to accept the fact that u lied to them and still choose to believe in u.

so when ppl start giving u the cold shoulder treatment, then u noe that they're really mad n not much can b done to rectify the situation. things may still go back to normal but that wud take a very very long time.

so to all my dear frens, do value those who treasure ur friendship.
