hello to all :)

it's been a long time since i last blogged as life has been kinda hectic lately. needly to say, quite a lot has happened during this 2 mths. people come and go and it really makes you realise how strong bonds built over the years can be so easily broken.

and then tpt left pg to pursue her dreams in australia *green with envy* . it seems like fun there! how i wished i could follow in her footsteps.....there's still a chance that might happen though. hehe.

ever felt neglected when sumthing important happens and your frens "4got" to tell u bout it? well, 2 of my frens juz resigned from work recently by giving a day's notice but no1 knew about it. except the mgr, of coz. y dun ppl tell how they feel these days? both came as a shock to me as the last time i met them they were stil fine. gosh, so many ppl are leaving their jobs this few mths. the turnover rate is scary!

the bad stuff doesnt end there......i used to have to dogs but no longer hav any now. the 1st one ran away from home one nite and nvr came back. and the 2nd one died yesterday after being sick for more than a wk. brought him to the vet and even had 2 injections but it was all in vain. his condition nvr improved. instead, it got worse....it's depressing juz by looking at him. used to think he was hyperactive but now, i juz missed his active self sooo much. however, i din manage to say goodbye as i was at work. sigh. well, atleast he doesnt hav to suffer now. RIP, Rody.

it's been almost 3 mths since i started working and so i'm currently bz preparing the necessary documents and sititng for tests so that i can be confirmed and no longer on probation. but i dun really think it makes any difference as there's no increment :(

a new chapter of life

a new chapter of life??

hmmm.....i'm not so sure myself. started working since wed and i have to say that it's a whole new experience for me. lol. for the benifit of those who dun already noe, i'm currently working at KPMG, an auditing firm.

with no prior working experience, i have to admit that i'm a bit blur. to be more precise, i'm totally LOST!!! the seniors dun really explain to you wat they're doin. instead, they juz ask you to help them with the smaller and easier parts of their job, eg. cross referencing. the worst part is that i joined the firm during the "peak period" and therefore have been deprived of a proper induction/training session. how unluckly.... i STILL dun get the big picture after working there for 3 days!! argghhhhh!!!!

1st day of work......
after being briefed by one of the HR staff about the admin issues, we(all the new recruits) were left to rot. everybody was busy with their work and nobody attended to us. we were idle and was bored to death!

2nd day of work.....
i was assigned to the team working on a hotel in batu ferringhi. only the 2nd day of my working life and i was already working OT.hehe. it was already 9.20 pm by time i headed for home and i was damn hungry. famished!!!

3rd day of work......
ended work earlier at around 7.40 pm. so happy to have the weekend off :) however, the weeks ahead shd be hectic as my schedule is full until after cny. sigh.

Hopefully i'll have improved on my skills and knowledge the next time i blog. although i'm starting to have serious doubts after attending the briefing for my next job this morning. din really understand wat they were saying.

juz finished my exams yesterday. went to Queensbay at nite. it's huge. but renovations are not fully completed. love that place. there's sooooo many shops there!

uni hunting

uni hunting is so tiring. esp when i'm looking for a UK uni that offers a jan intake. to make it even more difficult, i'm looking for one that award exemptions based on my ACCA exams. so now it's only down to a cluster of universities. since it's currently the start of the new term in uk, most uni personnel r quite pre-occupied n none has replied my enquiries. bummer....

most of my frens r all enjoying uni life n hopefully it will soon b my turn :) however, if things doesn't go according to plan then i'll b leaving in sept instead of jan. i do prefer a jan intake though....fingers crossed.

Steve Irwin (1962-2006)

Steve Irwin---an iconic figure amongst children who dedicated his whole life to the wildlife concervation.

Whenever i see the "Croc Hunter" on television, he's alwaz so full of energy and his enthusiasm is infectious, no doubt. a very passionate animal lover who once said that " my proudest achievement professionally would be as a global wildlife conservationist".

It's alwaz sad when someone dear to ur heart leaves. but who wud've imagined that Steve wud b killed by a stingray?? it's so freakish!! although he may hav left for a better place, his efforts wud not be in vain as i'm sure the younger generation wud've been inspired by Steve.

May he rest in peace.




On a brighter note, i juz wana say that i had a really really great time with u guys the other day, celebrating wy n pt's birthdays. hehe. it was like a bonding session lol. having said that, i wud like to hereby declare that i DO NOT hv lesbian prone feelings for tpt. n i dun think wy has any feelings watsoever towards tpt too. stop dreaming k, tpt :p

so happy that u like ur present, wy. but then again, of coz u'll like it since u picked the necklace urself hehe. n i hope pt is happy with her maroon sling bag too. mayb u guys can wear it on our next mission to disguise urselves "p

juz cut my hair yesterday. haven't done so in ages! my head feels so light now :>

besides being shorter, i'm having a fringe now n both my parents n brothers said that i look really diff. they couldn't recognise me at first glance..... i stil feel kinda weird sporting a new look....to be honest, i dun really like it....

on a brighter note, it was really great meeting up with june n wenying the other day. althought it was kinda short, i stil had a blast!! cathing up on each other's life over lunch n shopping afterward was absolute fun :)

i wud also like to apologise to june for not being able to attend the suprise party the guys planned. really really sorry june.... hope u had an enjoyable time watching superman n singing ur heart out hehe. hopefully i'll b seeing u b4 u leave for aus :p i wud very much like to meet caryn too if given the chance.

the new term has started bout a wk n classes r ok for now. needless to say there's a lot of work to be done as core papers r a handful. however i'm enjoyin my life now n everythin's juz wonderful (besides my obu project of coz..).

playing badminton tmr morning at 8am. hopefully i'll b able to wake up :)
